Youth Ministry
The Heartbeat of God for Our Youth
After much prayer and seeking God for the vision of our youth ministry, God led us to Psalms 144:12. If our youth
make the Lord their God then “our sons in their prime will be like sturdy oak trees-well nurtured plants, and our
daughters will be like graceful pillars carved to adorn a palace."
Vision: Go and make disciples. -
Matthew 28:18-20 New Living Translation (NLT) Jesus came and told his disciples,
“I have been given all authority in heaven and on earth. Therefore,
go and make disciples of all the nations,
baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit. Teach these new disciples to obey all
the commands I have given you. And be sure of this: I am with you always, even to the end of the age.”
By doing
this, our youth will be like ‘oaks and pillars’ in God’s Kingdom.
We will not follow the common trend of sensationalism and crafting catchy phrases to manipulate and entice our
youth. The world and Hollywood is doing a great job with that. We will however, follow the path of Christ- and of
the Spirit of the Lord to disciple our youth in the power and wisdom of the Holy Spirit, so that He alone will
receive all glory and honor. We realize that this is not the popular way because it is truly “narrow” and not
many take this path. We don’t want to be popular and hip we want to be powerful and holy.
We believe that if we do our part by following God’s plan for the edifying of His church then He will draw the
souls to Himself. Our youth are a vital part of the life of the church and the previous generation must declare
God’s work to them so that they may pass the mantle to the next generation and so forth.
There is only one plan that works and that is to build upon the Rock-Jesus. We aim to follow the simple but
profound principles of the word of God, and that is to build upon the revelation of Jesus Christ-upon His word.
We thought it wise to follow His example, by focusing our energies on making disciples and staying true to the
teachings of Christ. It worked for the early church and the apostles and it will also work for all who do likewise.
Our youth are growing up in the last days and we believe that unless they are deeply rooted in Christ, they will
not be able to withstand the attacks of the enemy and the temptations of this world. Our goal is to instruct and
equip them to be witnesses unto Christ so they will be able to stand and give an answer for the hope that is
within them. We believe that unless they experience the deep joy of serving Christ and experience His glory then
the world will offer them a substitute of the spirit of the Antichrist.
These times are like no other and will increase in rebellion against God. The target is aimed at our youth and
God has called us to train them up to walk with God, to win souls for Him, and to show forth the glory and
splendor of God through Jesus Christ.
Weekly Schedule
• Sundays: 10:00 a.m. – Bible Studies
Our bible class (Sunday School) is very fruitful. Our youth are engaged in the scriptures with bible in hand
(their sword ready to eat from the mouth of God and tackle real life issues of our time. It is very interactive
and open to discussions, questions. We use multimedia when needed and the learning is fun. Jesus was a teen once
so He knows about teenager issues.
For the last month or so, we have been walking with Jesus through the streets of Jerusalem. We’ve been listening
to His teachings and watching Him do miracles and destroying the work of Satan. We love to hear Him teach on the
Kingdom of Heaven. He told us to come and learn of Him and it has been a delight. Being that He is our Savior and
Lord…we figure we ought to know Him better than Moses and David. We will drop in on them later on.
• Fridays (except last Friday of the month): Youth Fellowship
Our Youth Fellowship includes weekly worship service, prayer, discipleship training, talent and gift development,
and fun and game nights.
CAUTION: Holy Spirit may do mathematics at anytime. He may add, subtract, divide or multiply at will.
